Where we're from and what we do: JBC Plastic Fabricators, LLC
was founded in 1997 by John and Cheryl McGrath. John has over twenty five years experience in plastic forming and fabrication, having been employed by Hyvac Plastics, Jarold Manufacturing Co. & Willco Plastics Inc. prior to establishing JBC. Fourteen of those years were at Willco Plastics, nine as Shop Foreman and the final two as General Manager.
At JBC we start with plastic sheet, rod, tube, slab, extrusion, or castings and work from our customer's engineering drawings, rough sketches, or verbal representations to produce finished products.
The processes used include, yet are not limited to, sawing, routing, milling, planing, drilling, turning, engraving, bending, drape forming, vacuum forming, pressure forming, sanding, wheel polishing, flame
polishing, solvent cementing, gluing, and mechanically fastening. See our fabrication
page for examples of items produced to our customer's specifications. We offer our customersfree consultation as to which materials and processes would best suit the requirements of their project and
usually can offer several options stating the advantages and disadvantages of each. Check our material datapage for data on various plastic
materials. In 2001, after local distributors started minimum purchase requirements, JBC Plastics filled an unmet need in the St. Louis area by offering plastic materials and fabricating supplies to
the retail market. We are now offering these same materials and supplies to anyone with access to our website. See our catalog
page for a listing of items currently available. |
